Analysis of Single Barrette (Linear and nonlinear) by the Program GEO Tools

Composed Coefficient Technique (CCT) proposed by El Gendy (1) (2007) for analyzing pile foundations is further developed to be used for analyzing single barrette, barrette group and barrette raft based on both flexibility coefficients and full 3D finite elements. The method considers the interactions of soil elements with the barrette elements. Equations of flexibility coefficients for barrettes depends on barrette geometry. The nonlinear response of the barrette is represented by a hyperbolic relation between the load and settlement of the barrette. The next sections describe the formulation of CCT for analyzing barrette foundations.
