Prof. El Gendy, together with the father of elastic rafts (Prof. Kany), had developed analysis of rafts and further piled rafts in the program ELPLA. ELPLA can use to analyze rafts and piled rafts of arbitrary shape with subsoil stratification and variable stiffness by different calculations methods. Therefore, it is considered as the most widely used program.
 
The objectives of this workshop are that participants can analyze piled rafts and distinguish between different calculation methods of piled rafts.

Hiermit laden wir Sie recht herzlich ein zu unserem Workshop: „Berechnung von Pfahl-Plattengründungen mit dem Programm ELPLA“.

Prof. El Gendy hat zusammen mit dem Vater der elastischen Platten (Prof. Kany) die Berechnung von Gründungsplatten mit dem Programmsystem ELPLA so weiter entwickelt, dass Platten beliebiger Geometrie, Baugrundschichtung, veränderlicher Baugrundsteifigkeit bis hin zu Pfahl- Plattengründungen berechnet. ELPLA stellt damit auch das am häufigsten verbreitete System dar.
 
Die Ziele des Workshops sind, die Teilnehmer können Pfahl-Plattengründungen berechnen und zwischen verschiedenen Berechnungsverfahren von Pfahl-Plattengründungen unterscheiden.
